The Defender Xtreme range is comprised of four levels of ultimate steel security doorsets, third party tested and accredited by BRE to the stringent requirements of the LPS 1175 Issue 8 scheme created by the internationally recognised standard established by The Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB).

We have tested a huge range of configurations, hardware and glazing options to suit most emergency exit and personnel door requirements.

Door Leaf

• Galvanised steel skins (varying thickness depending on level required)

• Internal steel strengtheners/solid timber core

• Mineral wool for superior insulation

• Anti-jemmy flanges to the leading edge of the leaf for excellent jemmy resistance

• Large number of glazing options available to be incorporated

• Louvred grilles of various sizes can be incorporated on some levels

• Mechanically fixed ensuring strength and rigidity.

Thresholds

• 2mm stainless steel profile

• DDA compliant

• Available as outward, inward opening and ramped.

Over Panels/Side Panels

• Single/double glazed, louvred or solid

• Dependant on level required, check link to certificates for details.

Frame

• Galvanised steel profiles

• Profiled headers and vertical posts fixed with strong M8 bolts ensuring rigidity, superior to welded or riveted frames

• 16no threaded adjusters, compensating for most structural opening irregularities

• No need for shims or packers, providing an extremely secure fit.

Seal

For optimum weather, thermal and acoustic performance, a durable tubular silicone rubber perimeter seal is bonded into the frame.

Vision/Louvre Panel

Vision panels are available on Level 2.

Louvre panels are available on all levels.
