Our fire resistant riser shaft steel doors keep equipment and the surrounding building protected by keeping fire and smoke contained.
The Defender Riserguard has been designed and fire tested for use in riser shafts in larger buildings and provides protection to riser openings, preventing fire escaping throughout multi-storey buildings.
Manufactured from steel with riveted and welded frame corners that are concealed. The Defender Riserguard is available with a standard beaded frame and has an insulated and strengthened core providing a 120 minute fire rating to ensure the spread of fire is contained on either side.
A quick release heavy duty pivot hinge is welded into the door trays with a concealed escutcheon. A five point euro-profile lock is also fitted as standard. Available to a maximum noise reduction of 47 dB Rw.
Thermally insulated and air-sealed options are available to 0.5m/m/h leakage.
