With years of experience in the door industry, Maddie is a valuable member of the estimating team, ensuring customers receive the best solution. She began her career in the door industry in the estimating and scheduling for wooden doorset manufacture, providing valued insight when moving into the steel door industry.

Exceptional customer service is Maddie’s passion which is demonstrated in her friendly and helpful approach when helping clients get an estimate for the most suitable Metador solution.

Matthew Hall

CAD Technician

After completing 7 years in the Royal Navy, Matthew joined Metador as a door fabricator and technician. After several months of experience and outstanding performance, he moved into the drawings team and is a strong member for programming our CNC machinery for the fabrication of our doors.

Adam Healey

Despatch Manager

Having worked within the construction and manufacturing industry for over 10 years, Adam understands all the complexities around logistics and transport. He arranges transport for component and door consignments, liaising with customers, transport networks and the production facility. His resourceful and hardworking character ensures he provides the best possible solution to every delivery.

Anna Hepburn

Marketing Assistant

With a first-class honours degree in Illustration for Commercial Illustration, Anna brings numerous years of experience in both in-house and freelance graphic design and artworker roles. Her creative skills are complemented by her experience in marketing support. Anna plays a role in supporting the marketing team’s efforts by creating and managing design assets, content creation, and communications.

Sasha Holloway

Accounts Assistant

Sasha supports the Finance team as an Accounts Assistant, further expanding our resources in this area. Her role involves supporting the team with the processing and handling of the purchase and sales ledgers, amongst other responsibilities.

Michael has many years of experience within the door installer industry and this allows Michael to be on hand to assist with customers in onsite technical queries. Focused on quality and talented for dealing with complexity, Tristan leads the Operations aspect of the business. Mac, an experienced Metador door assembly technician, made an excellent candidate to join our customer service team in 2021. With his strong in-depth knowledge of our products and problem-solving capabilities, Mac made an excellent customer service representative. This gave him valuable experience when moving into his role as Metador's Concierge Executive, being on-hand to deliver exceptional customer experience.

Ken McLean

Purchasing

Ken joined the Metador team in 2019, taking over the purchasing role in the operations department. As a highly focused individual with excellent attention to detail, Ken takes great pride in managing the stock, despatching products and maintaining excellent supplier relationships.

Rob Nelson

Senior Design Manager

Responsible for CNC drawings and punch plans at Metador, Rob is a dynamic and resourceful CAD Designer. Disciplined and committed to meeting targets and deadlines, Rob is continually experimenting with innovative new designs to ensure Metador meets and exceeds client’s requirements.

Rebecca Newsam

People Manager

Rebecca has a wealth of industry experience, which she draws upon in her diverse role. She is responsible for overseeing and driving forward company-wide HR-related activity. This includes the development of the HR function to support the company’s growth, as well as the implementation of new initiatives and ongoing improvements to support people development and recruitment, employee engagement, internal communications, and wellbeing.

Jason initially started at Metador as a Steel Door Technician in October 2017 and his hands-on, technical knowledge of our products has led to him moving into his current role in Customer Service and order processing. With his years of experience as a Warehouse Operative and in Security, Jason offers a methodical and efficient approach to his work.

Customer Experience Executive

Hayden has worked within the door industry for over 8 years. Originally starting work in the material handling and production areas of door manufacturing, he has a good understanding of the processes involved, which he is able to draw upon in his current role. His experience in order scheduling, documentation processing, and customer service further adds to this. He has a keen eye for detail too and so is ideally placed in our customer experience team.

Production Manager

Gordon is a vital asset to our production facility thanks to his many years and previous experience in manufacturing operations. Gordon is able to use his project management skills to ensure each order is dealt with seamlessly throughout the production facility so our customers receive their order on time and in full, every time.

New Product Development Assistant

With 6 years of experience within the construction sector working within development, manufacturing and production, Chris has become an integral part of the research and development department.

Using his meticulous eye for detail, Chris assists with expanding Metador’s steel doorset range and ensures innovation is at the core of this.

Senior Purchasing Manager

Having spent more than 20 years working in Supply Chain, Sue works with internal customers and vendors to ensure continuity of supply for Metador’s raw materials and essential services. Making sure that materials are received on time and in-full, to the correct specification, helps Metador to provide a high level of customer service.

With a background in project and account management, Janine’s wealth of experience in customer relations has quickly made her an asset to the Estimating team since joining Metador in July 2020. With numerous years of experience in the door industry in addition to his background of 10+ years in the construction industry, Ricky utilises his grounding in hardware and product applications to advise customers on the best door solution to meet their requirements, as well as providing meticulous quote accuracy, and an efficient turnaround.

Design and Development Engineer

Nathan’s role is focused on generating detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation to support manufacturing production and the ever-increasing output volume.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, he ensures the bespoke steel door design being produced meets customer requirements, as well as industry standards, working with colleagues to overcome any technical challenges.
